Deco Products Company and Toppling Goliath Brewery are co-sponsoring the Smoking Gun Showdown band on Friday, August 26th at the Toppling Goliath taproom.
Born on the banks of the Mississippi River in Prarie du Chien, WI, Smoking Gun Showdown is the brainchild of their two powerhouse femaile singers April Bouzek and Leigh Vorwald. April and Leigh are well know in the region for their performances in large music competitions. Whishing to take their love of music and passion for a good show to a wider audience, they have brought together a talented group of like-minded musicians: Joe Schroeder on drums, Jeff Goettel on bass, Jeff Gaunitz on guitar, keyboards, and harmonica, and Jeff Hanson on lead guitar. A Smoking Gun Showdown show is a high-energy experience focusing primarily on country but they offer a bit of everything for everyone of all ages.
The event has no cover fee, however, freewill donation buckets will be available to help support both the Humane Society of Northeast Iowa and Winneshiek County Food Pantry. All are welcome to join in the community fun. We look forward to seeing you at the show!
