In today’s global economy, considering Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) is more important than ever. Trade disputes, shifting regulations, conflicts at ports of entry, and natural disasters effect supply chain vulnerabilities. Overseas disruptions can introduce sudden volatility into global supply chains, especially for manufacturers who rely on imported materials.
That’s why more companies are reshoring manufacturing to domestic suppliers who can offer both stability and performance.
At Deco Products, we help our customers de-risk their supply chains through dependable domestic manufacturing. Through sustainable sourcing practices, and deep expertise in zinc castings. Whether you’re facing tariff uncertainty, supply chain disruptions, extended lead times, or inconsistent quality from overseas vendors. Deco provides a U.S.-based solution you can count on.

Domestic Supply Chain Management
Since our founding, we’ve prioritized working with U.S. -based suppliers and local manufacturing partners. While cheaper overseas options have long been available, we believe that price is only part of the equation.
Partnering with domestic suppliers allows us to maintain a supply chain that is both resilient and highly responsive. Local sourcing also plays a critical role in helping our strategic partners retain skilled labor and maintain operational continuity. By investing in domestic relationships, we’ve created a foundation of trust, accountability, and long-term reliability.
Our commitment to a responsible supply chain extends beyond logistics. Sourcing locally reduces transportation costs and emissions, and ensures that our materials come from credible, socially responsible commercial partners.

Zinc Minimal Tariff Cost Impact
When tariffs on raw materials first became a concern under the current administration. Experts initially flagged zinc concentrates as a major risk. While there is some domestic capacity for high-grade zinc production, much of the U.S. supply chain still relies on material sourced from Canada—particularly for the Zamak alloys used in zinc die casting.
Fortunately, recent developments have helped alleviate that concern. On April 2, 2025, the White House published Annex-II, a list of materials intended to be exempted from tariffs. The document highlights key input materials—like zinc concentrates—that are critical to U.S. manufacturers and are not readily available domestically. As such, Deco can be a stable and cost-effective solution related to tariff risk and uncertainty.
