Two: How Zinc is a Good Corrosion Resistant Metal, Published 02/02/2023 

An advantage of zinc is that it resists corrosion, as it forms a thin, protective layer of zinc oxide on its surface when it is exposed to the air.  This provides some discoloration but minizine any additional oxidation.
