Deco Products Company of Decorah has hired Jake Fogle as the Die Cast Machine Manager. Jake previously worked for Laserage Technology Corporation in Waukegan, IL for 15 years where he primarily worked with medical devices manufacturing. He started as a Laser Technician and grew into a Senior Production Manager role.
Jake is from a small town in Missouri called Memphis with a population of about 1,800 people. He attended Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, IA where he participated in the Advanced Technology Program and earned his degree in Laser/Electro Optics. His wife Amber is originally from Decorah, which spiked their interest in moving back to the area. His wife stays busy watching their 3 young children Gavin, Vivienne, and Maverick. Their family enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, and having family get togethers in their free time.
Fogle is only on his fourth week at Deco and is optimistic about the future. “I want to take Deco to the next level” says Fogle, “I want to help this company in any way possible and make a positive impact right now and for the future. I’m going to give it my all and show this company what I’m capable of. I’m here for the long haul and I am excited to bring my leadership to the table.”
Jake will be responsible for implementing standardization of work performed, process improvements, and safety. He will help with training of higher quality expectations, lowering scrap rates, process efficiencies, and reducing process variation.
