Deco Products is the largest stand-alone zinc die cast manufacturer in North America. Our manufacturing plant is centrally located in Decorah, Iowa. At Deco Products, we form zinc die cast parts from raw certified zinc alloy ingots. Next, we remove the parts from the zinc runner through a degating process. Then, our team moves the parts to the paint and powder coating area, where we apply the finish. If assembly is required, we handle those tasks on-site before packaging and shipping the parts directly to our customers. This integrated process allows us to perform quality checks at each stage, ensuring that every part meets our high standards.

Performing multiple stages of production within the plant not only allows us to maintain control over quality but also ensures that we can make adjustments quickly when needed. Our production team members perform constant quality control checks on each zinc die cast part they handle. Our quality assurance team roves through the plant, continuously inspecting parts and examining processes for proper control.
In addition, our team members are trained to identify dimensional concerns, pitting, flashing, and pores that could affect the surface finish. We go through these extra measures of quality control at Deco to ensure we provide the highest level of quality.
